Courtney Vaughan

I am the Acting Registered Manager and am responsible for Berkshire. I have been with MAK for 4 ½ years where I started as a support worker. I have always had a passion for helping people and making a difference so felt this career path was so fitting for me, the difference I felt I could make to people’s lives and the changes that I felt I could make was so fulfilling and rewarding and seeing others achieve their dreams and goals, it bought me a great sense of satisfaction. Some of my role includes overseeing the service, supervising staff, completing rotas, ensuring all staff are complaint with online training, managing on calls, managing risks, handling recruitment, inputting into inductions, managing recruitment, holding team meetings, attending MDT meetings, and leading them. My goal is to continue making a difference to the PWS and enhancing their lives and to continue to create a positive culture for the PWS and our staff team.
