I have worked within the care industry for 19 years. Starting as a support worker, I worked my way up to now being operations manager here in the Kent area. My role is to ensure that my team feel supported and are able to be the best they can be so we can continue to provide the amazing support we already do. I work alongside my team on a daily basis and am always reachable to provide any guidance, help or support. Not only just to my team but to the families of our supported individuals and our individual themselves. I work closely with the families to ensure we are all working to achieve the goals of our individuals so that their voices are heard, and their independence is gained. With new skills and new opportunities that lay ahead for our individuals. We will always be ready to provide support for their next ventures. I have 6 children who have gone on to have their own. I enjoy spending time in my garden or visiting garden centres.
