Celebrating Love Month at MAK Community Care

At MAK Community Care, we’re always looking for ways to bring warmth and joy to the lives of those we support, and this Love Month is no exception. We’re delighted to share some of the delightful activities we’ve been working on throughout the month.
To celebrate Love Month, our team at Gainsborough Assisted Living House has been busy baking up a storm, creating our MAK Cares shortbread biscuits. These freshly made treats are a simple but heartfelt way to spread joy and create a sense of community. There’s nothing like enjoying a cup of tea alongside one of these delicious biscuits – a perfect little indulgence to brighten the day.
But that’s not all – we’ve also been exploring our creative sides at Sakina, our largest self-contained flats project in Lincoln. Residents and staff have come together to make beautiful crafts, adding a personal touch to the celebrations. The smiles and sense of accomplishment from these activities have truly made Love Month extra special.
At MAK Community Care, we believe in the power of small gestures to create big moments of connection. Whether it’s baking sweet treats or getting creative with crafts, we’re proud to continue building a warm, supportive community that makes everyone feel loved and cared for.
