Hi, my name is Sher Ali, and I am proud to serve as a Support Team Coach at MAK Community Care in Berkshire. I began my journey here as a support team member, where I developed a wide range of skills through hands on experience supporting individuals in their daily lives. With over four years in the mental health and adult social care sector, including two fulfilling years at MAK, My work has always been driven by a strong passion for helping others and making a positive contribution and change to their lives. Supporting individuals to achieve their goals, gain independence, and feel part of their community has always brought me immense satisfaction. In my current role as Team Coach, I have the privilege of guiding and supporting our incredible staff, fostering collaboration, enhancing communication , and improving teamwork and team performance to ensure consistent, person-centred care. I am committed to creating a positive and empathetic team culture, where both individuals we support, and staff feel empowered and valued .One of the things I enjoy most in my role is being the voice of frontline workers and the individuals we support, ensuring their concerns are heard and their needs are met. At MAK, I’ve seen firsthand how compassion and teamwork can transform lives, and I remain dedicated to learning, growing, and making a lasting impact in the lives of those we support.
