May Omoigberale

I am a compassionate mental health support worker with over 6 years of experience. I have developed a deep commitment to providing empathetic and effective care to individuals facing mental health challenges. As the Night Team coach, I oversee the night shift operations, ensuring that the team delivers exceptional care to service users while maintaining a safe and supportive environment. Over the years, I have honed my ability to handle crises with calmness and professionalism, recognizing that every situation requires a unique response. Whether it is crisis management, facilitating team debriefs, or providing direct support to service users, I approach every situation focusing on safety, empathy, and the well-being of individuals involved. Throughout my career, I have developed a reputation for being a reliable and approachable individual, who is always ready to support both service users and team members and provide mentorship to new staff members. I am committed to my personal and professional growth and this is evident through my continuous engagement with training opportunities and staying up-to-date with the latest mental health practices and regulations. I believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to live a life filled with hope and growth. As a mental health support worker, I am proud to play a key role in fostering this environment and ensuring the best possible outcomes for the people we support by providing care tailored to their unique needs. I am driven to lead by example to support both my team and service users.
