As a HR manager for MAK, my role involves overseeing the human resources functions to ensure that the organisation can effectively support the staff and people we support. I am responsible for recruiting, hiring, and onboarding new employees, ensuring that the organisation attracts qualified candidates who are aligned with its mission of promoting mental health. In addition to recruitment, I manage employee relations, addressing any concerns or issues that may arise in the workplace. This includes developing and implementing policies that foster a positive work environment and promote staff well-being. I also oversee training and development programs, ensuring that employees receive the necessary support and resources to excel in their roles. Furthermore, I play a key role in performance management, helping to set goals and evaluate employee performance while also providing guidance and support for professional growth. My work is essential in creating a supportive and effective workforce that is dedicated to delivering high-quality mental health services to the community.
