I am the Registered Manager and Responsible Person for overseeing our supported living service in Lincolnshire. I have worked for Mak for 2 ½ years and I am extremely passionate about enriching the lives of others. My role involves ensuring the service meets all legal and regulatory requirements set by Care Quality Commission (CQC). I oversee recruitment, training, and supervising staff, ensuring they provide high-quality care and support. My role involves implementing and monitoring systems to maintain and improve the quality of care, including conducting audits and handling feedback. Overseeing the development and review of care plans, ensuring the people we support individual needs are met. Protecting people from harm, abuse, and neglect, and ensuring that all staff are trained in safeguarding procedures. Liaising with people we support, families, staff, and external agencies to promote a positive environment and resolve any issues. I ensure the service complies with health and safety regulations to provide a safe environment for all. I provide clear direction and support to the team, fostering a culture of teamwork and professional development. I offer emotional and practical support helping to create a positive workplace where Employees feel safe to express their ideas and concerns, reinforcing a sense of belonging and community.
